ARISE Afternoon Child Respite Program

PROVIDER FOCUS | ARISE Afternoon Child Respite Service

ARISE Child and Family Services is a LIFEPlan provider agency in Central New York that has recently launched a Syracuse based inclusive after school program for any school aged child. The after school program offers a safe, sensory friendly environment for kids and a break for caregivers.

“This program offers a much needed service to Syracuse area parents for their children with disability,” said Mary Kate Menges, Program Coordinator at ARISE. “Our experienced staff is knowledgeable working with kids of all ages and abilities, providing programs, homework help and snacks.”

The inclusive nature of the program enables kids with many abilities to develop social skills and peer relationships in a fun, supervised setting.

A HCBS Waiver Respite program for OPWDD eligible children is available. For more information about the program or to register contact: Mary Kate Menges at 315-671-2974 or mmenges@ariseinc.org.
