In honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, we are proud to share the inspiring story of Andy, a LIFEPlan CCO member whose determination and passion show us what’s possible when people are given the right supports.
Thanks to his Care Manager Megan and the unwavering love and advocacy of his mom, Christine, Andy hasn’t just received care, he found purpose. Through volunteer work at his high school and now hands on service at The Carlucci Senior Home in Port Jervis, N.Y., he helps prepare lunch and supports daily activities for older adults in his community.
Andy’s story is a powerful reminder that disability doesn’t limit potential. With respect, opportunity, and support, everyone can contribute, belong, and flourish.
