Request for Services Application Now Available
Is your organization interested in becoming a Home Enabling Supports provider? OPWDD is now accepting Request for Services applications with a deadline of January 20, 2025.
Home Enabling Supports are available for people enrolled in the HCBS Waiver who live in non-certified settings as a sub-component to the Assistive Technology benefit. Home Enabling Supports help to address a person’s needs in a way that promotes, maintains, or improves their abilities, improves interactions, supports meaningful relationships, and supports their ability to live independently and meaningfully participate in their community.
The goal of Home Enabling Supports is to assist a person to be more independent and less reliant on physically present staff. Devices or supports received through this service may include but are not limited to: Assistive Devices/Technology, Remote Supports, and Health Assessment and Coordination Services (HACS).
Additional information about Home Enabling Supports, including application materials, is available on OPWDD’s website: Home-Enabling Supports | Office for People With Developmental Disabilities.
