Energy Savings Program

The Energy Affordability Program is a monthly bill credit towards utilities that is automatic if you receive HEAP. If you need help applying for HEAP reach out to your Care Manager. When the HEAP is added to your account the credit hits your account for 14 months. If your HEAP payment is through a different vendor (oil, wood, propane) send your award letter to affordability@nationalgrid.com. Click here to apply for this credit before December 31, 2022.

Internet Savings Program 

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more. If you or someone in your household receives Medicaid, you are eligible!

The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

Once you fill out the application it gives you an application number. You MUST call your internet provider and tell them you were approved for the Affordable Connectivity Program and what your application number is. Click here to apply.
